Young Volunteers - Be Heard, Be Counted

The aim of the Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) is to ensure that the voices of children and young people are at the heart of decision making in Co Clare.

According to Ireland’s National Volunteering Strategy, volunteering is ‘any time willingly given, either formally or informally, for the common good and without financial gain'.

Volunteers are people from all walks of life, all ages and stages. What they have in common is the desire to make a difference in their community, and in their own life, by giving of their time. Volunteers are involved in virtually every aspect of society including health, education, social services, youth, sports and recreation, culture, the arts and the environment.

We would like to find out the number of young people in Co Clare, that have volunteered in the last 12 months and their experiences of volunteering.

This short survey is for young people aged 16-21 who have volunteered in Co Clare in the last 12 months.

There are 12 questions in this survey.
